BRICKLANE
Materiality Shoreditch Brick Lane is a University-led project that looks into the history and culture of East end London. My project is about Jack the Ripper and the Whitechapel the East end of London during 1888. My collection is interior textiles, wallpaper, cushion cover and wall art for a boutique hotel bar, restaurant, lounge area, and bathroom. My print design is a collage of images that I took in east London of rusty walls and sinister looking windows. I also took photographs of the main iconic settings in the whole Jack the Ripper case. I did paint an abstracts backgrounds with the color palette inspired by my pictures.
